Alabama responded to its loss versus Texas A&M with a dominant defensive game against Mississippi State.
Will Anderson led the Crimson Tide for sacks (four) and tackles for loss (four), but the Tide collected seven sacks, nine tackles for loss, and three interceptions in a 49-9 rout of the Bulldogs. Alabama fans were pleased with the performance, but it wonders if the team can build off this outing. Players and coaches were challenged during the week to excel, but was it a spark, or has Alabama turned a corner defensively?
