Did Alabama’s defense have a spark versus MSU or has it turned a corner?

Alabama responded to its loss versus Texas A&M with a dominant defensive game against Mississippi State.

Will Anderson led the Crimson Tide for sacks (four) and tackles for loss (four), but the Tide collected seven sacks, nine tackles for loss, and three interceptions in a 49-9 rout of the Bulldogs. Alabama fans were pleased with the performance, but it wonders if the team can build off this outing. Players and coaches were challenged during the week to excel, but was it a spark, or has Alabama turned a corner defensively?

On Monday, Stephen Smith of Touchdown Alabama Magazine tackled the question via In My Own Words.

Alabama hosts Tennessee this week at Bryant-Denny Stadium. If the Tide continues its showing against the Volunteers, it will feel more like it has turned a corner.
