Nick Saban provided an update on all three injuries Alabama had versus New Mexico State.
DeMarcco Hellams, a junior at free safety, went down with a thigh bruise in the first half. He could have gone back into the game, but the coaching staff held him out. Coach Saban said Hellams is fine, but the Washington, D.C. native wanted to let Crimson Tide fans know himself.
He took to social media to thank fans for their concern and gave his update on the injury against the Aggies.
And I’m healthy, thank you for your concern #RollTide

Hellams had one tackle before the injury and has 48 for the season.
