It is almost becoming routine as Alabama’s sophomore outside linebacker, Will Anderson was named the SEC co-defensive player of the week for the fifth time this season Monday.
Anderson finished Saturday’s game with seven total tackles, three tackles for loss and one sack. He was one of the leading forces in the Crimson Tide’s defense limiting Auburn to 22 rushing yards.
The Georgia native leads the SEC in sacks with 14.5 sacks, and he has 30.5 tackles for loss on the season. He is expected to create major problem for Georgia’s offense Saturday in the SEC Championship.
