Alabama had ten players named to the All-SEC Team — including Jameson Williams twice. The Crimson Tide had six first-team selections and four second-team nominees. Williams earned first-team honors at receiver and second-team honors on special teams. Alabama has three freshmen — Dallas Turner, JoJo Earle, and Kool-Aid McKinstry — on the SEC All-Freshman Team.

Dallas Turner
Dallas Turner is growing into becoming a dominant player.
He earned his first start for Alabama on defense versus Texas A&M. Since then, the edge rusher has 25 tackles, seven tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and five quarterback hurries. The 6-foot-4, 245-pounder recorded 2.5 sacks and 2.5 tackles combined against Auburn and Georgia (SEC Championship). Will Anderson has taken Turner under his wing, and the five-star is growing.
Kool-Aid McKinstry
Ga’Quincy “Kool-Aid” McKinstry arrived on campus as a five-star from Pinson (Ala.) Valley High School.
He’s played in 12 games — including two starts — at cornerback for Alabama.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder totals 17 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, one pass breakup, and one interception. McKinstry emerged in the Iron Bowl with plays versus the Tigers at Jordan-Hare Stadium. He had two tackles, including one sack and one tackle for loss. McKinstry also posted a breakup in the fourth overtime, preventing Auburn from making a two-point conversion.
JoJo Earle
JoJo Earle, a native of Aledo, Texas, arrived at Alabama as a four-star receiver.
He has 12 receptions for 148 yards and averages 12.3 yards per catch. Earle returned 14 punts for 95 yards, averaging 6.8 yards per punt return. A knee injury versus New Mexico State forced him to miss three games, but he is expected to return for the College Football Playoff. Earle is one of the targets Alabama wants to have a role in the absence of John Metchie (knee).
