The right side of Alabama’s offensive line may be ready to go Monday night versus Georgia.

In his final radio show of the season, Nick Saban provided an update on Chris Owens and Emil Ekiyor Jr.

Both linemen suffered injuries in the Crimson Tide’s victory over Cincinnati in the Goodyear Cotton Bowl. Ekiyor sustained a shoulder issue while Owens hurt his ankle. Both guys have started on Alabama’s offensive front all year.

JC Latham (freshman) took over at right guard after Ekiyor went out against the Bearcats.

Amari Kight replaced Owens at right tackle in the matchup.

“Those guys have been able to practice,” Saban said of Ekiyor and Owens. “I think, hopefully, they will be able to play.”

Both guys look forward to playing at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
