Trevon Diggs has established himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the National Football League.

He won a College Football Playoff National Championship (2017) and two SEC Championships (2016, 2018) at the University of Alabama across four years. Diggs, a former four-star recruit in the 2016 recruiting cycle, got selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft. He exploded onto the scene in 2021 as a playmaker at defensive back.

Diggs totaled 11 interceptions, tying Everson Walls (1981) for most all-time in franchise history for a season.

He recorded at least one takeaway in ten of 17 games, including two interceptions versus the Carolina Panthers on Oct. 3, 2021.

Diggs leads the NFL for interceptions and is second for passes defended (21). He is tied for fourth all-time in interceptions for a single season in league history. Diggs’ performance landed him on the NFL’s All-Pro First Team Defense for 2021.

He is the only Crimson Tide alum on the list.

Diggs has the Cowboys at 12-5 as NFC East Champions and No. 3 seed in the NFC playoffs. He’s guided Dallas’ pass defense to allow a passer rating of 76.6, which is the third-lowest in the NFL. Diggs is three interceptions shy of tying Dick “Nite Train” Lane’s record of 14 from 1952 with the Los Angeles Rams. Lane has the most picks in a single season for the league.

Diggs has the Cowboys eyeing an opportunity to win the Super Bowl.
