Alabama offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien has been a controversial figure amongst the fanbase since he first took over for Steve Sarkisian for the 2021 season.
Since then O’Brien’s situational play-calling has come under fire multiple times throughout the Crimson Tide’s run to the national championship game.
Over the past week rumors began to swirl, stating that O’Brien could be making the jump back to the New England Patriots as the team’s offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels accepted the head coaching position with the Las Vegas Raiders.
Shortly after the speculation began, Touchdown Alabama conducted a Twitter poll asking Crimson Tide fans if they would want Nick Saban to retain O’Brien regardless.
The results from the poll can be seen below:
Bill O'Brien is a leading candidate to replace Josh McDaniels as Patriots offensive coordinator.
