Alabama fans were engaging in a conversation during Friday’s segment from In My Own Words.
Pete Golding got released on a $500 bond after being arrested and charged with driving under the influence on Thursday in Northport, Ala. The 37-year-old had his best performance on the recruiting trail for the 2022 class, and Golding had Alabama playing better defensively in the second half of the 2021 season. He released a statement displaying his remorse, but Tide fans were split on what Nick Saban should do in regards to Golding. Some feel he should have a second chance, while others sense Saban should cut ties from Golding. The University of Alabama released a statement since the incident as it has the information.
Alabama fans voiced their opinions to Stephen M. Smith of Touchdown Alabama Magazine.
