DeMarcco Hellams is heading into his fourth season at the University of Alabama.
He arrived as a four-star safety in the 2019 recruiting class and performed well in 2021.

Despite an ankle injury in fall camp, Hellams finished third in tackles (88) for the Crimson Tide and posted three pass breakups with three interceptions. He recorded 28 tackles, three breakups, and one interception in Alabama’s last four games. As a native of Washington, D.C., Hellams decided to forgo the NFL Draft and return to the Tide for his senior year. He looks to put the National Football League world on notice as he recapped his junior campaign with a hype video on Twitter ahead of next fall.

The 6-foot-1, 208-pounder will thrive at free safety or dime linebacker for Alabama.
It will be fun to see how Hellams performs in spring practice and next season.
