According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the New Orleans Saints are returning Marrone to its coaching ranks.
The #Saints are hiring an old friend, bringing back #Bama OL coach and former #Jaguars coach Doug Marrone for a key role on their offensive staff, source said.

He served as an offensive coordinator and offensive line coach for the Saints from 2006 to 2008. The 57-year-old has spent much of his coaching career in the pros, and it feels more natural for him there. Marrone did earn an SEC Championship and a Cotton Bowl victory in 2021 on Nick Saban’s staff. Alabama replaced Marrone with Eric Wolford to coach the offensive front for next fall.
