Cole Adams is ready to hit the road after picking up offers from Alabama, Texas A&M and LSU.
Adams is a product of Owasso High School in Owasso, Oklahoma. After receiving his latest offers from SEC programs, the Oklahoma product has a total of 15 D1 offers. The Crimson Tide’s wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins offered Adams last month during a phone call.
The 2023 prospect told Touchdown Alabama he feels Alabama has a rich football tradition.
“They have some of the best history behind their program,” Adams said. “It is not only a top-notch facility. They also have a legendary coaching staff. Having an opportunity to play for Saban is truly an honor and a blessing. You dream about being able to meet him as well as play for him, so that just puts it into perspective.”
Adams is listed at 5-foot-10 and 175 pounds, and he is projected to be a slot wide receiver at the next level. The four-star has the size for the position as well as the skillset. He holds a PR of 10.65 in the 100-meter dash, and his speed translates over to the football field. He said he feels he can see himself fitting into Alabama’s offensive scheme based on how they used Slade Bolden in the past.
“It is good to see how they use Slade bolden throughout his career,” Adams said. “With me being able to play inside or out, it will help, as well as playing on special teams.”
As a junior, Adams pulled in 55 receptions for 913 yards and eight touchdowns. He also added 180 yards on the ground and one score, according to MaxPreps.
“I feel like I am able to make plays when they need to be made,” said Adams “With the help of teammates and coaches, I believe I could help in a lot of other ways as well.”
