Christian Harris saved his best football at linebacker for Alabama’s meetings versus Auburn, Georgia (SEC Championship), Cincinnati (CFP Semifinal), and the Bulldogs again (CFP National Championship).
He recorded 21 tackles, 5.5 stops for loss, 3.5 sacks, two quarterback hurries, and one forced fumble in those games. Most projected Harris as a late first-round pick, but his NFL Combine performance has elevated him. As a native of Baton Rouge, La., the former high school defensive back posted the second-fastest 40-time (4.44 seconds) for linebackers. He was a top performer in the vertical (34.5″) and broad jumps (11’0″) while excelling in the on-field drills. Harris showcased speed, lateral quickness, and his ability to cover ground as a linebacker. He impressed media pundits, draft evaluators, pro scouts, and his former teammates.
Georgia had more players at the Combine than Alabama (14-11), but the Crimson Tide brotherhood showed for Harris.
