If it wasn’t clear from the days prior, the Miami Dolphins are making a massive push offensively.
After signing offensive lineman Terron Armstead one day ago, on Wednesday the Dolphins continued its busy offseason by trading multiple draft picks for Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Miami also plans to make Hill one of the highest-paid receivers in the NFL.
Chiefs are trading six-time Pro-Bowl WR Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins for five draft picks: a 2022 1st-round pick (No. 29), a 2nd-round pick (No. 50) and a 4th-round pick, as well as 4th- and 6th-round picks in the 2023 draft, sources tell ESPN.

With Hill and Armstead now in South Bay, the team’s quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will enter a make or break season with the new additions on offense.
After two underwhelming seasons, the main argument in favor of Tagovailoa has been the personnel the team has put around him. The offensive line was amongst the worst in the NFL and last season the team drafted his former Alabama teammate Jaylen Waddle who set the rookie record for receptions in his first season with the team.
Miami also hired San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel to be the team’s new head coach who has gone on record multiple times stating that he believes in Tagovailoa and wants to get the most out of him.
Despite trading away a good deal of its picks, the NFL Draft still looms as one last chance to make a few final touches to the roster.
