Alabama legacy 4-Star DB Tavoy Feagin talks two-day visit to Tuscaloosa

Tavoy FEAGIN poses during alabama visit

Tavoy Feagin returned to the University of Alabama for an unofficial visit over the weekend.

Feagin currently attends Carrollwood Day School in Tampa, Florida, and he is an Alabama legacy. Feagin’s father Michael Feagin played for the Crimson Tide from 1995 to 1999. The 2024 prospect holds more than 40 D1 offers, including one from the Crimson Tide.

Alabama football offered Feagin when he visited for a game in November. His latest two-day visit to Tuscaloosa allowed the Alabama target to get a look at how the Crimson Tide prepared in the off-season.

“I was able to see their facilities, and I sat down with coach Saban,” Feagin told Touchdown Alabama. “I also watched them practice Friday, and I watched their scrimmage Saturday. The scrimmage and the practice were great. I was able to see things that I can bring back to my game.”

Saban talked with Feagin about him possibly playing for the Crimson Tide in the future during their latest conversation.

“It was great talking to a legend,” Feagin said. “We talked about how great an athlete I am and how I will most definitely have an opportunity to play for him. He wants me to come back for camp to see where he wants me to play at in their system.”

Feagin’s latest visit to Tuscaloosa also gave him an opportunity to catch up with other members of Tide’s coaching staff.

“I have an amazing relationship with their coaches,” said Feagin. “They really make me feel like I am at home.”

At 6-foot and 170 pounds, Feagin has the potential to play all over the secondary at the next level. He lined up at cornerback for most of the 2021 football season, and he impressed with his ability to come downhill to make tackles close to the line of scrimmage. He also displayed great coverage skills as he turned and ran with wide receivers with ease.

The next step in Feagin’s recruitment is to drop a top schools’ list. Alabama is expected to be included.
