Bridgeman attends Imhotep School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and he holds more than 30 D1 offers. He has a top eight, which includes Florida, Georgia and others. He is in the process of setting up a visit to Tuscaloosa to get a better look at the Crimson Tide.
The Pennsylvania product was informed of his offer from Alabama after Alabama’s offensive coordinator Bill O’Brien visited Imhotep.
“Bill O’Brien came up to talk to one of my coaches about me,” Bridgeman said. “O’Brien broke the news to him. My coach informed me. I felt honored, and I was in disbelief. I felt proud of myself, like wow I just got an offer to play at one of the best programs in college football, and they recognized me as a top player on their radar.”
The four-star recruit went on to give his thoughts on Nick Saban.
“He is a legend,” said Bridgeman. “Who would not want to play for that guy?”
Bridgeman is listed at 6-foot-2 and 220 pounds. He suited up for Archbishop Wood High School during the 2021 football season, and he spent time on both sides of the football. His ability to take good angles and close on the football in space were evident when he lined up at linebacker. He was used as a tight end on the offensive side of the football.
Alabama’s coaching staff were impressed with the versatility Bridgeman displayed during his junior season.
“They said they like my versatility on my film with me playing inside and outside,” said Bridgeman. “They also like my ability to play in space and rush off the edge.”
Alabama does not have a commitment from a 2023 inside linebacker at the moment. Bridgeman has become a prospect to keep an eye on.
