The Washington Commanders aren’t done drafting Alabama players as the franchise continued their run by drafting former Crimson Tide running back Brian Robinson with the No. 98 overall pick in the third round.
Robinson’s five-year career at Alabama demanded a great deal of patience from the Tuscaloosa native. His most significant playing time came this past season where he shouldered a majority of the team’s carries as the position saw numerous injuries.
Robinson rushed for 1,343 yards on 271 carries with 14 rushing touchdowns which led the SEC.
The Commanders previously drafted defensive lineman and former Crimson Tide teammate Phidarian Mathis in the second round.
