Caleb Downs announced Monday he scheduled an official visit to the University of Alabama for the weekend of June 17.

Downs made his announcement via Twitter. The Mill Creek (GA) product is rated as a five star recruit by multiple recruiting sites. The Crimson Tide hosted Downs for an unofficial visit in April, and he told Touchdown Alabama the visit was ‘very good.’

Georgia will host Downs for an official before Alabama. The Bulldogs will get Downs on campus on the weekend of June 3.
Downs is listed at 6-foot and 180 pounds. He has a physical playing style, and he has the potential to play all over the secondary at the next level.
