Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was arrested by the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday according to several reports.
Jeudy was taken into custody at 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, per Ryan O’Halloran of The Denver Post. The department released a statement shortly following his initial arrest which was shared on its social media account detailing the charges that included second degree tampering with a domestic violence enhancer and misdemeanor.
“Professional football player Jerry Jeudy has been arrested by Arapahoe Co sheriff deputies,” read the statement. “He’s being held at the Arapahoe Co jail on charges of 2nd degree criminal tampering w/a domestic violence enhancer, a misdemeanor. He’s on no bond hold. He’s innocent until proven guilty.”
A first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Jeudy has played in 26 total games as he prepared to enter his third year in the NFL.
