Mater Dei’s (CA) 2025 running back, Jordon Davison picked up an offer from Alabama football Thursday, continuing his hot streak on the recruiting trail.

The month of May has been good to Davison so far. He has added six new D1 offers since the beginning of the month, pushing his offer total to 29. Alabama’s wide receiver coach Holmon Wiggins informed Davison of his offer from the Crimson Tide during a phone call..
“Coach Wiggins called me when I pulled in the driveway,” Davison said. “My initial feeling was shocked because I did not expect it. It made me shed some tears.”
Alabama has had its fair share of great running backs during the Nick Saban era. Fellow California native and current Pittsburgh Steeler, Najee Harris is one former Alabama running back who Davison watched closely.
“Seeing what they did with Najee Harris was a work of art,” said Davison. “Knowing Najee and getting the ability to see how the program work was amazing.”
Davison currently stands at 6-foot, and he weighs 205 pounds. He ran the football with great patience and balance during the 2021 football season. The Mater Dei product was also productive at catching the football out of the backfield.
Alabama’s coaching staff told Davison they like his speed, size, vision and his skill set as an overall player.
