Summer workouts started Thursday for Alabama football.
The Crimson Tide welcomed the remainder of its 2022 freshmen class and three more transfers.
Coach Nick Saban is hopeful that the transfers can mesh well with the young talent.
Several veteran players look to use this preseason to make them stronger for the upcoming fall. On Wednesday, Stephen Smith of Touchdown Alabama Magazine put five Tide players on the clock via In My Own Words. Smith looks at DJ Dale, Jaylen Moody, Traeshon Holden, Malachi Moore, and JC Latham as players that need a dynamic preseason to prepare them for the fall.
Smith brought these five to the table for different reasons. Hopefully, all five have a lot of success.
