The 2012 SEC Championship Game provided Alabama and Georgia fans with several memorable plays. Whether it was the late Amari Cooper touchdown or Alec Olgeltree returning a blocked field goal, one play that’s been utilized to continue to fuel the rivalry was Crimson Tide defensive lineman Quinton Dial’s hit on Bulldogs quarterback Aaron Murray.
Murray threw an interception to Ha Ha Clinton-Dix during the first half of action which is where he was drilled by Dial.
Although the play is typically reshared online to take a jab at Georgia fans, Murray himself got in on the joke on Monday sharing that his head is still spinning from the play.
Head still spinning… 😵💫😵💫 https://t.co/Qko3ahZWKL
