Before he takes the freshmen to Lake Tuscaloosa, Coach Nick Saban spent time with his veteran players.

Alabama football posted a video on Instagram of the leadership group riding on Saban’s boat, having fun on jet skis, and tubing down the lake. Players that participated in “Leadership Lake Day” included Bryce Young, Will Anderson, Henry To’oto’o, DJ Dale, Jordan Battle, Cameron Latu, Byron Young, and Will Reichard. Young (quarterback), Anderson, To’oto’o, Dale, and Battle are on the team’s leadership council. Young and Anderson were voted permanent team captains by their peers for their efforts in 2021.
