Tyreek Hill won a Super Bowl, earned three first-team All-Pro nods, and had six Pro Bowl selections with the Kansas City Chiefs.

He made the NFL 2010s All-Decade Team catching passes from Patrick Mahomes, but Hill has more confidence in what Tua Tagovailoa is about to do for the Miami Dolphins. The 28-year-old loves Tagovailoa’s work ethic, leadership, and overall passing abilities. Hill and the third-year quarterback from the University of Alabama have been connecting in offseason camp for Miami.

The 5-foot-10, 185-pounder has caught a few touchdowns from Tagovailoa in organized team activities. As the “Cheetah” of the National Football League, Hill compared the deep ball accuracy of Tagovailoa to Mahomes on his It Needed To Be Said Podcast.

“I have had the chance to see Tua throw the ball, and he’s that dude,” Hill said. “I’m not sitting here saying this because he’s my quarterback. I am not trying to get more targets, but what I’m saying is Tua is that deal. He has a heck of an arm. He is accurate, and he can throw the deep ball. He goes through his reads well. People are on Twitter saying, ‘He doesn’t go through his reads,’ man Tua is that dude. Patrick Mahomes has the strongest arm, but I’m going with Tua all day in terms of accuracy.”

Hill said he wants the ball hitting him in the “bread basket.”

He sees Miami’s offense going far with Tagovailoa in the fall. Hill mentioned that he has expanded his game from deep balls to becoming an all-around receiver. He wants to make Tagovailoa look good and intends to do it.
