According to Johnson’s Twitter profile, he has joined the Longhorns as a graduate assistant on the defensive line. He is reunited with Coach Davis after spending time with him for the Tide. Johnson, 31, won three BCS National Championships in Tuscaloosa in 2009, 2011, and 2012.
He made the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2009.
Johnson played in 51 games across four years, including 20 starts. He won two SEC Championships (2009 and 2012) and spent some time in the National Football League. Johnson coached under Billy Napier at Louisiana-Lafayette, but he’s under Sarkisian.
