Wilkin Formby tweeted Wednesday he will announce his commitment Monday, June 20.
Formby is a product of Northridge High School in Tuscaloosa, and he is rated as a four-star prospect. He holds more than 30 D1 offers. The Tuscaloosa product will choose between Alabama, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Tennessee.
The Crimson Tide, the Sooners and the Rebels have hosted Formby on an official visit. Alabama got him on campus last weekend, and it was a good visit, according to the Alabama target.
Formby currently stands at a towering 6-foot-8, and he weighs approximately 300 pounds. He started at tackle for the Jaguars during the 2021 football season, and Alabama likes him there as well. The Northridge product has great footwork and mobility. He also carries his weight extremely well.
