The University of Alabama is taking over ESPN’s SEC Network on Saturday, July 2.
An announcement came Wednesday via Alabama Athletics Twitter profile. All 14 schools in the Southeastern Conference will take over the network’s programming. The Crimson Tide’s takeover will begin on Friday, July 1 at 11 p.m. and go throughout Saturday.

Football will be featured three times — including Alabama’s 2021 SEC Championship Game versus Georgia, the 2021 Iron Bowl matchup against Auburn, and the 2022 A-Day Game. Alabama defeated the Tigers, 24-22, in four overtimes at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The Tide dominated Georgia, 42-21, in the SEC Championship Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga.
