Bryce Young had Alabama fans rewinding his clip from the Manning Passing Academy all week.

He accomplished a lot as an individual, but he spoke about not winning a national championship in 2021.

Young is grateful to have the Heisman Trophy, but he came to the Crimson Tide to win a championship. He called last year for Alabama a “failure” because the team did not achieve the ultimate goal. Young was frustrated in the post-game press conference after the Tide suffered an 18-33 loss to Georgia in the College Football Playoff National Championship Game. He is focused on returning to the big stage and finishing the job. On Monday, Stephen Smith of Touchdown Alabama Magazine broke down the reason why Young called last year a failure via In My Own Words. Smith believes Young and the Tide should dominate in the fall.
