Tyreek Hill is not pumping the breaks on his support for Tua Tagovailoa anytime soon.

He has been in Tagovailoa’s corner since arriving to the Miami Dolphins in March. As the most dangerous wide receiver in the National Football League, Hill knows his quarterback has something to prove. Tagovailoa saw the Dolphins’ coaching staff put offensive talent around him during free agency and the NFL Draft. He has been faced with critics, but the people in Miami’s organization believe in him. Several former NFL greats think he’s a superstar on the rise. Hill shook people on ESPN’s First Take when he called Tagovailoa the “most accurate quarterback in the NFL.” He believes the native Hawaiian will have the league on notice.

“A lot of people have not seen Tua’s full potential,” Hill said. “This dude came from Alabama, and Alabama plays in some of the biggest games in college football. I have had a chance to play with him, practice with him, see his confidence, I have had the chance to golf with him, and he’s a good guy. I see a lot of similarities between him and Patrick [Mahomes]. He’s onto something.”

Most feel like Hill downgraded by leaving Mahomes for Tagovailoa, but he does not. Hill made comments in the summer about Tagovailoa being more accurate than Mahomes. The national media went crazy, but the electric playmaker stuck to his script.

Hill furthered his explanation about Tagovailoa’s accuracy on First Take.

“Tua is not your typical gunslinger, but if you pay attention to his game everything is spot on,” he said. “Everything is pin-point, the ball is on time, and his fundamentals are on point. He takes the time to make up in other areas and be great in those areas that other quarterbacks may not be great in. Tua is a f-cking, he’s a helluva hard worker, I am excited to go to work with him, compete with him, and battle with him.”

Hill enters his seventh pro season in the fall and first with the Dolphins.

He’s created a lot of buzz in pumping up Tagovailoa. As a former national champion, Tagovailoa looks to deliver the goods.
