Damien Harris is taking jabs at the University of Georgia football program.

As a University of Alabama alum, Harris was a two-time College Football Playoff National Champion.

His second championship came against Georgia in the 2018 CFP national title game.

He watched Tua Tagovailoa come off the bench in the second half and deliver the Crimson Tide to a 26-23 overtime victory. Harris was a two-time 1,000-yard running back for Alabama, and he got selected in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He has now become the featured back in the Patriots’ offense. Harris posted career-highs for carries (202), rushing yards (929), and touchdowns (15). He is ready for his fourth season, but Harris cannot stand the Bulldogs.

In a fun interview with All Access, he called Georgia ‘overrated.’

“Oh my god, there is nothing more overrated than Georgia,” Harris said.

He referred to his Alma mater as ‘underrated.’ Crimson Tide fans enjoyed Harris during his tenure, but Alabama and Georgia could face each other again for a Southeastern Conference Championship.

The Tide earned a 41-24 victory last year.
