It’s been a difficult week health-wise for Patriots quarterback Mac Jones, but the 2021 first-round pick is going to give it a go on Sunday.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Jones was removed from the team’s injury report and will play against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

New England is still looking to get into the win column during the 2022 season as it lost its season opener on the road against the Miami Dolphins 20-7.
During the loss, Jones and the offense struggled under new play-caller Matt Patricia as the former Alabama quarterback threw for just 213 yards with one touchdown and one interception. Jones was sacked twice during the game and hit three more times which likely contributed to his back issues.
This week at practice, Jones missed one session due to an illness.
