Bill O’Brien has become one of the top three candidates that Nebraska is looking at to fulfill its head coaching vacancy.
The Cornhuskers recently fired Scott Frost, and it wants a new coach.
O’Brien is in his second season as Alabama’s offensive coordinator. Bryce Young, the Crimson Tide’s junior quarterback, won the Heisman Trophy in 2021 under O’Brien’s leadership and the Tide secured a Southeastern Conference Championship. Tide fans have shown concern about his inconsistent play-calling, but O’Brien did have success in the Big Ten at Penn State. Fans took to Twitter and voted in a poll done by Touchdown Alabama Magazine on whether O’Brien should stay or take the Nebraska job.
The results were interesting as 86.7 percent of Alabama fans want him to take the Nebraska job.
Tide fans, what would you prefer happen with Bill O’Brien?

Most fans consider O’Brien a downgrade from Steve Sarkisian and Lane Kiffin.
Our offense is so boring with him. Miss Sark’s play calling.

Ot doesn’t have to be Nebraska, it can be anywhere but Bama

There is a distinct different in the offense between Sark and O’Brien. If he leaves, I won’t miss him.

I don’t understand why we even took him in the first place
