Former Alabama players and Crimson Tide fans are not feeling the kinder, gentler Nick Saban.
One of Eminem’s most popular songs is “The Real Slim Shaddy.” The biggest verse is “will the real Slim Shady please stand up.’
People are asking for the hardcore Saban to return to the forefront. College football has changed because of NIL, but Tide fans want to see their coach demanding excellence from everyone. The change starts with himself. Coach Saban needs to revert to the qualities that started Alabama’s championship run in 2008. He was tough, hard, challenging, and expected nothing but perfection from everyone. Mike McCoy, a former Alabama receiver, said Saban trained players as if they were ‘navy seals’ on a football field.
After a second loss this year, Alabama nation is discussing how Saban does not even cuss like he once did.
They can’t coach them hard anymore people ! These kids are rich and , they’ll jump into the transfer portal , go to TX for more $$. 🤣😂

Well O’Brien still has a job, and Saban once fired an OC before a national championship, so yes. Absolutely yes.

We need to get Saban on a weekly dose of Test from the doctor, bring back that fire.

It didn’t start this year. It cost them this year. Snowball effect

This team didn’t get any “make his a** quit” speeches

I haven’t seen him cuss on the sidelines enough. https://t.co/6xPqjefJWE

He became known for locker room speeches such as “Make His Ass Quit,” but we have not seen that Saban all year. Maybe he will return to it with Alabama out of the College Football Playoff picture. The dynasty is not over, but it is in jeopardy.
Saban must make changes upon the end of the season to have opponents fear the Tide again.
