Nick Saban has attributed some of Alabama’s road struggles this season to anxiety prior to kickoff. Normally Saban’s teams can be seen bursting out of the tunnel ready to roll with the boos from the crowd fueling its performance.
But his version of the Crimson Tide has allowed the crowd to impact its performance throughout the season.
This led to former Alabama defensive back Caleb Castille calling out the team’s lack of energy ahead of its game against Ole Miss.
Castille who quote tweeted a video of the team leaving the tunnel pointed out the lack of passion and emotion as it entered the environment, comparing it to the teams he used to be a part of.
The lack of energy is alarming.
Idk man we had some real hittas when I was there that were passionate about the game and the potential of dominating our opponents…idk what these boys on 🤦🏾♂️ https://t.co/ww1oVfvEA6— Caleb Castille (@CalebCastille) November 12, 2022
Castille played at Alabama from 2010-12 and was a part of two national championship teams which is where Saban hopes to get his team back to in the near future.
