Nick Saban and the University of Alabama are enjoying the longest streak in college football.

After getting a 49-27 victory over Auburn, the Crimson Tide has 10 wins to finish the 2022 regular season.

Since 2008, Saban has guided the Tide to fifteen 10-win seasons. He has the longest streak in major college football with Alabama. Saban will not compete for a Southeastern Conference Championship, but he remains hopeful for a chance at the College Football Playoff.

LSU, Clemson, and Ohio State suffered defeats last week. Alabama moved to No. 6 in the Associated Press poll, but we will see how the CFP Committee looks at it Tuesday night. If it lands at No. 5 in the CFP rankings, the Tide would be in a position to have little chaos to get into the playoff. If not, Alabama would at least have a very good bowl game to prepare itself for next season.
