To the Alabama Family, I would like to thank coach Saban and the entire Alabama coaching staff for everything that you have done for me while I was a student-athlete here. Having said that, I would to announce that I will be entering the transfer portal effective immediately.

“To the Alabama Family, I would like to thank coach Saban and the entire Alabama coaching staff for everything that you have done for me while I was a student-athlete here,” Holden wrote in his post. “Having said that, I would (like) to announce that I will be entering the transfer portal effective immediately.”
A junior, Holden arrived in Tuscaloosa in 2020 as one of its top wide receiver prospects. After serving in a reserve role his first two seasons, Holden saw his first major opportunity to play during the 2022 season.
Holde saw action in 10 games this season where he recorded 25 receptions for 331 yards and six touchdowns as he participated in a lengthy wide receiver rotation for the Crimson Tide.
A native of Kissimmee, Fla., Holden is the eighth Alabama player to enter the transfer portal this season as he joins defensive lineman Braylen Ingraham, kicker Jack Martin, running back Trey Sanders, defensive back Khyree Jackson, offensive lineman Damieon George, wide receiver Christian Leary and offensive lineman Tanner Bowles.
