A second wide receiver that left Alabama football in the transfer portal has found a new home.

Christian Leary, a former four-star receiver in the 2021 class, has returned home to South Florida. He announced Tuesday via Twitter that he’s committed to the University of Central Florida. Leary joins former Crimson Tide receiver Javon Baker.

He caught six passes for 105 yards and a touchdown in the spring game; however, Leary was not utilized in Alabama’s offense this season. He possesses the speed to help the vertical passing game be successful, but Tide fans did not see him at all. He followed Traeshon Holden as the second receiver to enter the portal for Alabama. We will see how Leary performs at UCF.
