Arion Carter announced his commitment to Tennessee Wednesday, choosing the Vols over Alabama, Ohio State and others.
Carter attends Smyrna High School in Tennessee, and he is rated as a four-star recruit. A big senior season has him rank among the top linebacker prospects in the 2023 recruiting class.
The Crimson Tide appeared to be in a strong position with Carter leading into his decision. He visited UA multiple times since earning an offer from Alabama earlier in the football season.
