Olaus Alinen is excited to represent his homeland of Finland at the Under Armour All-America event this week and at the University of Alabama for the next three to four years.
Alinen moved from Finland to the United States of America to chase his dream of playing college football. He has earned more than 40 D1 offers and has worked to become one of the top offensive lineman prospects in the 2023 recruiting class. The Finland native signed a National Letter of Intent to play football at the University of Alabama last week, and he is excited for his future in Tuscaloosa.
Before Alinen gets to Tuscaloosa in January, he has to experience another dream of his by playing in the Under Armour All-America game.
“It is really awesome,” said Alinen. “I like being able to represent my country here, it is a big thing for me, getting this experience, and just seeing like how it is and just being real. Finally, like being here and doing this. I dream about this as like a kid when I started playing football, getting these cool experiences and the way that the game of football has allowed me to go and see places and, and these all kind of cool experiences that’s really like bests. I’ve seen so much through this and being able to get, to get to so many cool places.”
The 6-foot-7, 300-pounder is set to enroll at Alabama in January.
