Alabama linebacker Will Anderson addressed the media on Monday as he officially made his announcement to enter the 2022 NFL Draft.
Anderson capped off a stellar career with the Crimson Tide on Saturday in the team’s 45-20 win over Kansas State in the Sugar Bowl.
Anderson made his impact on the team early on in his career earning a starting spot on the team’s 2020 national championship team. After showing great promise, Anderson cemented himself as one of the top defensive players in the sport in 2021 where he recorded 101 total tackles, 31.0 tackles for loss and 17.5 sacks as he helped the Crimson Tide return to the national championship game.
In his three seasons at Alabama, Anderson recorded 204 total tackles, 58.5 tackles for loss, 34.5 sacks, one interception and four pass deflections. He is also the only player in Alabama history to earn unanimous All-America honors twice during his career.
