We have made it to mock draft season in the National Football League.
After not having a defensive player selected in last year’s NFL Draft, the University of Alabama could have two players taken as first-rounders in April. Daniel Jeremiah, a draft expert for NFL Network, released his first mock draft on Friday. He has Bryce Young (quarterback) and Will Anderson (outside linebacker) chosen within the first three picks. Brian Branch, a defensive back, got slotted at No. 14 overall to the New England Patriots. All three players were impactful in the Crimson Tide getting to the Allstate Sugar Bowl against Kansas State. The trio paced the Tide to a 45-20 victory at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, La.

Jeremiah has Young at No. 2 overall to the Houston Texans while Anderson is at No. 3 to the Arizona Cardinals.
Nick Saban has produced 41 first-round picks during his tenure as Alabama’s head coach.
