Anthony Rogers is continuing his push to be the nation’s top 2025 running back prospect with multiple SEC schools standing out to him.
Rogers attends Pike Road High School in Alabama, and he is rated as a four-star recruit by multiple recruiting sites. He holds offers from some of the nation’s top programs, including Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.
Florida is the latest program to host Rogers. The Gators got him on campus last weekend.
“It was a great environment,” said Rogers. “It was good energy. All the coaches were energetic. I felt welcomed and wanted. It was just good vibes. I got a good relationship with the coaching staff. I developed a bond with them during my visit. We talked about how I need to behave on and off the field, how I should carry myself and how I could fit into their offense.”
The Alabama Crimson Tide offered Rogers a year ago. He has visited Tuscaloosa a couple of times since then, and he feels he has a good relationship with members of the Tide’s staff.
“I have been keeping up and having good chats with Alabama,” said Rogers. “We have been staying in good touch. Everything has just been going good with them as well.”
Georgia is another program standing out to Rogers
“I really like Georgia,” Rogers said. “I enjoy watching them play as a team on offense and it is a good school to be looking into as well.”
Rogers is considered an all-purpose back because of his versatility. He has made plays at multiple positions for the Patriots in the past, including as a running back, wide receiver and kick returner. He is also a star on the track with a PR of 10.77 in the 100-meter dash.
