He was on four Southeastern Conference Championship teams (2014-16, 2018) and two College Football Playoff National Championship teams (2015 and 2015). As a former four-star prospect, Miller became an explosive pass rusher. He harassed running backs and quarterbacks in 2018, collecting 11.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, and 12 quarterback hurries. Miller played on the 2016 and 2017 defenses with Pruitt as its coordinator. On his podcast, The Millers’ Edge, Christian and his father Corey discussed where Alabama needs to go with his defensive coordinator hire. Christian said Pruitt holds everyone accountable.

“I am all for it,” Miller said about Alabama needing to bring Pruitt back. “I’m an advocate for Jeremy Pruitt. I loved playing for him. He is a players’ coach. He is a passionate guy from Alabama, and he loves everything about Alabama. He looks at football as the way you played growing up. We are playing it on a high level, especially at Alabama, but he made sure he enforced that this is the same sport we have been playing. He wanted us to go out there and have fun. He’s worked at Alabama, he’s worked under Coach Saban, he’s had success here, he’s a helluva recruiter, helluva coach, and he loves his players. He is going to demand intensity from all of his guys. He is an old-school football coach, and there is no way around it. He is the guy that will help restore the Alabama standard, the physicality, and the culture of making people quit. That is who he is as a football coach and a man. He is a great guy and everyone loves him, but when it comes to business, he demands physicality and aggression.”
Miller said Alabama needs an enforcer again, and Pruitt is the enforcer.
Pruitt is one of the hottest names to replace Golding as defensive coordinator.
