Alabama football has its offensive coordinator to replace Bill O’Brien.

Nick Saban has chosen Tommy Rees to run his offense. Rees, a former Notre Dame quarterback, served as the offensive play-caller and quarterbacks coach for the Fighting Irish since 2017. The 30-year-old helped Notre Dame to a few College Football Playoff appearances under Brian Kelly. Alabama has an interesting quarterback competition between Jalen Milroe and Ty Simpson, but Rees’ creativity could make either one successful. Crimson Tide fans are reacting to Rees getting hired via Twitter.
