Former Alabama football safety, Ha Ha Clinton-Dix expressed he was happy to have Kevin Steele back in Tuscaloosa as the Crimson Tide’s defensive coordinator Monday.
Clinton-Dix played at Alabama from 2011 to 2013 before being selected in the first round of the 2014 NFL Draft by the Green Bay Packers. He retired from the NFL in December and returned to Tuscaloosa to be a director of player development at UA.
Former Alabama wide receiver, Marquis Maze tweeted he agreed with the hiring of Steele. Clinton-Dix tweeted his agreement in response by stating, “I couldn’t agree more. He gave me tough love wasn’t no buddy buddy stuff. We got a good one MAZZZZYYYY.”

Clinton-Dix also responded to a video of a fiery Steele during his time at Auburn.
