Kevin Steele is back at the University of Alabama football program as its defensive coordinator.
He started with Nick Saban in 2007 and served in different roles, but Steele has a wealth of experience in college football and the National Football League with defenses. Before returning to the Crimson Tide, he created a footprint in the Southeastern Conference at Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn. Steele brought a level of toughness that helped start Alabama’s run of national championships. The 64-year-old wants to rekindle the flame of titles with Coach Saban, and former players are excited.
