Jalen Hurts and the city of Philadephia (Pa.) have become a perfect fit.

His confidence and underdog mentality fit the culture. People doubted him, but he has the Eagles in Sunday’s Super Bowl for an opportunity to win an NFL Championship. Food Chasers Kitchen is a restaurant in the community that’s embraced Hurts.

Maya and Kayla Johnstone, twin sisters and black owners, had Hurts making his own Philly cheese steak.

He enjoyed the hospitality so much that he brought new people to their restaurant. Hurts has had their business booming since his first encounter in July for a Pepsi commercial, and now the twins are going to Arizona to support him in the Super Bowl.

Maya and Kayla called Hurts “their angel” for supporting them.

The twins were once principals for local schools in Philadelphia. They look to be a part of history as Hurts intends to bring Philadelphia a Super Bowl title. He now has a signature cheese steak at Food Chasrs Kitchen, dubbed the “Jalen special.”
