Robert Kraft, the owner of the New England Patriots, won six Super Bowls with Tom Brady as his quarterback.
Brady chose to announce his retirement for good on social media, but there have been questions about if the Patriots would bring him out of retirement as a free agent. Alex Barth, a beat reporter for the Patriots, said Kraft did not speak much on the possibility of having the future first-ballot Hall of Famer back; however, he backs Mac Jones as the starting quarterback.

Jones, a former Alabama signal-caller, had a strong rookie season, but New England had offensive struggles last year.
He has been locked in training with former Texas Tech quarterback, Nic Shimoneck. Kraft said the Patriots ‘are blessed’ to have Jones as a great young quarterback and he ‘believes in his development.’
New England has a new offensive coordinator in Bill O’Brien.
Robert Kraft asked if he had any conversations about Brady returning to New England as a player in free agency this offseason, before Brady decided to retire: “I think you’ll have to ask him about that. I try not to speak for other people and what’s in their thought process.”

Later in his answer, Robert Kraft brought up Mac Jones: “We’re blessed to have a great young quarterback in Mac Jones as our quarterback, and I’m a strong believer in him and his development.”

He will coach Jones hard and try to develop him into one of the best signal-callers in the league.
