A new development on Bryce Young has surfaced at the NFL Scouting Combine.

He was not expected to throw at Indianapolis, but Young also won’t throw at Alabama’s first Pro Day.

Andrew Groover, a senior assignment editor, manager, and producer for NFL Films, reports that Young will not throw until the Crimson Tide’s second pro day. Alabama’s first pro day is March 23 in Tuscaloosa (Ala.), but its second event for pro teams is scheduled for April 6. Young totaled 8,200 passing yards and 79 touchdown passes in two seasons as a starting quarterback.

He became the Tide’s first Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback in 2021 and projects as the top signal-caller in the draft.
