Nick Saban feels Elba 4-Star RB Alvin Henderson meets the Alabama standard

Alvin Henderson is becoming a regular at Alabama with another visit to Tuscaloosa under his belt.

Henderson was back in Tuscaloosa Saturday for the Tide’s junior day.

The 2025 recruit attends Elba High School in Alabama. He holds an incredible amount of offers with 65 as a sophomore. Henderson feels his Saturday visit to Tuscaloosa allowed him to learn more about Alabama.

“It was a great visit,” Henderson Touchdown Alabama. “I enjoyed being able to talk with Saban and hang with Coach G (Robert Gillespie) and learn more about the program. Most definitely a great all-around visit.”

Nick Saban talked with Henderson and assured him he possessed the qualities needed on and off the field to play for Alabama.

“It went great,” Henderson said about his conversation with Nick Saban. “We talked about how great of a person I was and how I met the standards to be able to play at the University of Alabama.”

Henderson rushed for 2,636 yards and 49 touchdowns on 95 carries as a sophomore. He was able to do this at 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds with impressive contact balance and explosive speed.

Henderson is expected to have a highly-contested recruitment in the future.
